We spent all day yesterday polishing the floors in our house. It’s been six years since we moved in, and in that time, some areas of the floor, mainly those in the direct sunlight, had become a bit oxidised.
We hired a floor polisher and bought some abrasive pads for it, and went to work. Some areas came up really well doing this, and other came up worse, the pads were too abrasive for those areas and it ended up scratching the floor badly. We bought some floor polish and went over the floor with that, and that fixed it, which was a relief. We’ve got just over 100sqm of Jarrah flooring downstairs, so it was a lot of work!
