This car is immaculate, It
has been restored to the finest detail, and then improved with an M30 3.5 litre
six cylinder with 6 throttle bodies, and about 300bhp. This car doesn’t get
driven in the rain, and the underneath is immaculate, even the suspension gets
a polish and wax!
Today, Jimmy and I spent a
couple of hours cleaning the paint. There were very few micro-scratches to
speak of, but there was quite a bit of dirt that had bonded to the paint. So
the process we used was:
- Wash the car
- Clay using a Zymol clay bar and Zymol clay lube
- Polish using Menzerna Final Finish, using an
Edge white pad and using a slow speed on the ROS.
- Wax with Swissol Concorso.
And here’s the end result!
